At the point of registration, all intending Sellers are vetted and verified before they can enlist their items for sale. Our Escrow system allows a Buyer to acknowledge the reception of a purchased item and upon confirmation, the payment is relayed to the Seller within 48 hours.
Yes, it is! The use of SellOff.ng does not attract any fees. However, Sellers are charged a commission of 3% on the price of items sold on our platform while buyers will only have to pay the price of a product plus any shipping cost (if applicable).
After signing up, you are immediately eligible to purchase an item; Sellers are expected to tender the requested documents to get verified to sell items on SellOff.ng.

Click on the ‘Forgot my Password’ icon, type in the email address you had used to sign-up then click on submit. Within a few minutes, a link to change your password will be sent to your mail, click on the link to reset your password and access your account.
Go to your Username, click on ‘Settings’ in the drop-down menu, among the options displayed on the left-hand side of the page, select ‘Update Profile’ to change your name or email address. Other options like ‘Contact Information’ will allow you to change your phone numbers. Note that all changes made are reviewed and approved by the Admin before it becomes visible.

Sellers are mandated to notify Buyers when their item has been shipped, they would also give the Buyer the tracking code of the item as provided by the delivery company. The Buyer should endeavour to keep track of the item.
An item purchased can only be cancelled by the Admin. Therefore, contact our team immediately to notify them of your cancellation and provide them with cogent reasons for such action before it can be approved.
To return a purchased item, kindly send a mail to email@example.com to lodge your complaint. Endeavour to abide by the Return Policy as highlighted in our Terms and Conditions.
A Seller will need to provide Certificate of Incorporation (if it’s a registered business), proof of official address (utility bill), and a valid means of identity (Voter’s Card, National I.D Card, or International Passport).
To upload an item, select the ‘Sell Now’ option at the top-right of the homepage, attach clear images of the item- images should be between 1mb and 1.5mb, input the description of the item, confirm the Seller’s information, and submit the item for Admin’s approval.
A listed item can be promoted daily or monthly depending on the Seller’s preference. Once a promotional option has been selected, funds will be deducted from the Seller’s Wallet and a transaction notification will be sent to the Seller’s email. The Seller will also be notified about the expiration of the promotion of an item and such item will be automatically removed from the list of promoted items.
For an item paid for by a Buyer, they get to decide their preferred delivery or pick up option. Once the Buyer receives the item, he is expected to click that the item has been received then payment will be forwarded to the Seller within 48 hours.
To Giveaway an item, click on ‘Sell Now’ on the website’s homepage, input the item’s details, state if it has any form of defect, save details, tick the ‘Giveaway/Free Item’ box at the top of the price option and the price option will automatically be replaced. Complete the requirements on the page and hit the submit button.
Our Premium Services offer Sellers the opportunity to have their listed items highlighted in the Promoted section and tagged as ‘Beefed-Up’. The ‘Beefed-Up’ item rank high on our platforms when a similar category is searched for. In addition, promoted items are featured on our social media platforms on selected days during the period of your promotion.
